Senior Planner

Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a Senior Planner for a role with a Tier 1 contractor working on a wastewater treatment plant in South West London. Ideal candidate would have good civils/utilities/water experience and come from a Tier 1 background. Strong civil engineering knowledge and ability work delivered detail work scopes would be good. Responsibilities: Project Planning:Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones for wastewater treatment plant projects. Coordination:Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution. Budget Management:Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented. Risk Management:Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Compliance:Ensure all projects comply with relevant environmental, safety, and regulatory standards. Client Relations:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring project goals align with their expectations. Reporting:Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and addressing any issues. Innovation:Bring innovative ideas to improve efficiency, lifecycle costs, maintenance, and other benefits of wastewater treatment systemsExperience/Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and managing wastewater treatment projects. Strong Primavera P6 or ASTA experience Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent long term work available with this contractor who are on Thames Water and Southern Water frameworks as well as capital works such as this project.
