Senior Renewable Engineer

Join our client , a leading consultancy, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of renewable energy in Southern Africa We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Renewables Engineer to join their team in Midrand, Johannesburg. Key Responsibilities: · Technical Leadership: Manage high-quality technical advisory works, review project designs, and provide expert input on solar PV and wind energy projects (5MW). · Project Management: Interface between engineering disciplines, manage technical specifications, and conduct due diligence. · Business Development: Drive sales strategy, prepare proposals, and manage client relationships. · Mentorship: Supervise and mentor junior engineers. · Risk Management: Assess and mitigate technical, construction, and operational risks. Qualifications & Experience: · BSc/BTech Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical). · 7 years of experience in Solar PV technology (Wind experience advantageous). · Proven experience in technical advisory, business development, and project management. · In-depth knowledge of solar PV and wind turbine technologies. · Experience with REIPPP and international project delivery. · ECSA Candidate registration (Professional registration preferred).
