Senior SAP FICO Consultant - AP/AR/GL Modules

Join Our Team as a Senior SAP FICO Consultant Location : Mumbai (Flexible to work in any location in India). Notice Period : 15 days or less. We are seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant with 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules, support offshore clients, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and participate in system enhancements and configuration. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, analyzing business requirements, and delivering custom solutions while supporting GST implementation, HANA migration, and other key financial processes. Key Responsibilities : - Provide end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support for the SAP FICO module. - Analyze business and statutory requirements in Finance & Accounting, including Union Budget, GST, and Taxation compliance. - Perform system configurations for GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and more. - Lead offshore client support and manage a minimum of 4 client environments. - Troubleshoot FICO-related issues and deliver timely resolutions through ticketing systems. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements. - Analyze and translate business needs into SAP FICO solutions. - Ensure compliance with regulatory changes and maintain accurate documentation. - Design and develop custom objects and enhancements when required. - Work with ABAP developers to deliver custom reports and interfaces. - Implement and support GST, Taxation changes, and country-specific legal requirements. - Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities. - Ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation processes. - Implement automated solutions to optimize financial closing. - Participate in SAP HANA migration and system upgrades. - Assist in rollouts for new regions or business units. - Perform data migration, testing, and post-go-live support. Must-Have Skills : - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. - 1-2 years of Finance & Accounting domain expertise. - Supported at least 4 clients with offshore support models. - In-depth understanding of SAP GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Profit Center, Cost Center, and Integration with SD/MM. - Experience working with Union Budget, GST implementation, Taxation, and other regulatory requirements. - Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing platforms. - Strong understanding of period-end and year-end closing activities. - SAP FICO module certification is a plus. - Real Estate, Construction, or Infrastructure sectors. - Experience with onsite support projects and global delivery models. - Hands-on experience in GST implementation and SAP HANA migration. - Participation in global rollouts and end-to-end implementations. - Clear and effective verbal and written communication. - Analytical and solution-oriented mindset. - Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. - Provide guidance to junior consultants and assist with knowledge transfer.
