SAP ABAP/PI/PO Consultant

Job Description : Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, including reports (classic, ALV, interactive), dialog programs, function modules, BAPIs, and classes. - Develop and modify SAP Smartforms or Adobe Forms for output generation. - Optimize ABAP code for performance and efficiency. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Debug and troubleshoot ABAP programs. - Design, develop, and configure integration scenarios using SAP PI/PO. - Create and maintain message mappings, interface definitions, and transformation logic. - Develop and configure adapter engines (e., File, IDoc, JDBC, SOAP, REST). - Implement message routing and transformation rules. - Monitor and troubleshoot PI/PO integration processes. - Experience with Integration Builder (IB) and Runtime Workbench (RWB). - Knowledge of various PI/PO components like Integration Directory, ESR, and Message Queue. - Provide ongoing support for existing integrations and ABAP applications. - Analyze and resolve integration issues and performance bottlenecks. - Work closely with the support team to troubleshoot and resolve user issues. - Participate in system upgrades and testing. - Work closely with functional teams (e., SD, MM, FI) to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Collaborate with other developers and architects to ensure seamless integration. - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Participate in project planning and estimation. - Contribute to the development of technical documentation. - Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and trends. - Mentor junior developers (if required). Required Skills : - Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. - Extensive experience in SAP PI/PO configuration and development. - Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices. - Proficiency in ABAP programming language, including object-oriented programming. - Experience with various PI/PO adapters and integration scenarios. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Experience with SAP modules (e., SD, MM, FI) is a plus. - Knowledge of SAP Workflow is a plus. Preferred Qualifications : - SAP PI/PO certification. - Experience with S/4HANA. - Knowledge of cloud integration platforms (e., SAP Cloud Platform Integration) (ref:hirist.tech)
