Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Platform Engineer - DevOps to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in building and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of DevOps principles, automation tools, and cloud technologies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our platform infrastructure to support our development and production environments. Key Responsibilities : Platform Infrastructure Design & Implementation : - Design and implement scalable and resilient platform infrastructure using cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. - Architect and implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes. - Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery. Automation & Optimization : - Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes. - Optimize platform performance, reliability, and security. - Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system observability. - Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and performance issues. CI/CD Pipeline Management : - Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - Implement automated testing and deployment strategies. - Ensure smooth and efficient software releases. Security & Compliance : - Implement security best practices for platform infrastructure and applications. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments. Collaboration & Communication : - Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth software delivery. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. - Participate in on-call rotations and incident response. Cloud Infrastructure Management : - Manage and optimize cloud resources and costs. - Implement cloud security and governance policies. - Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues. Monitoring and Logging : - Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system observability (e., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). - Create dashboards and alerts for proactive issue detection. Qualifications : Experience : Some years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps roles. Cloud Expertise : - Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). - Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). CI/CD : - Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). - Experience with automated testing and deployment strategies. Scripting & Automation : - Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash). - Experience with automation tools and frameworks. Operating Systems : - Strong understanding of Linux operating systems. Networking : - Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Security : - Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards. Monitoring & Logging : - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
