The Role: As a Personal Tax Senior, you’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, providing high-quality compliance services and advisory support on a range of personal tax matters. You’ll work closely with both clients and the wider team to ensure deadlines are met and opportunities for tax efficiency are identified. Key Responsibilities: Managing personal tax compliance for a portfolio of clients, including HNWIs, sole traders, partnerships, and directors Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns Providing tax planning advice on areas such as inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and trusts Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear and concise tax advice Assisting with HMRC enquiries and investigations Supporting junior team members and contributing to their development About You: ATT qualified (CTA desirable but not essential) Solid experience in personal tax within an accountancy practice Strong understanding of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements Excellent communication and client-facing skills High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities A proactive, organised, and team-oriented approach What’s on Offer: Competitive salary (£40,000 – £50,000 DOE) Clear progression opportunities, including CTA study support if desired Flexible working options A supportive and collaborative team environment Regular social events and a focus on work-life balance If you’re ready to take the next step in your tax career and join a firm where your skills are truly appreciated, apply today
