HGV 1 Driver

CDL has been supplying logistics companies with staff since. We are now looking for a HGV 1 driver for our established client based in Bristol. This position is a temp to perm position, working Monday - Friday, starting at 6:30 with a 48 hour week (on average) delivering to builders merchants in the Bristol area. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to); completing vehicle checks and reporting defects providing a professional service, ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently completing relevant paperwork relating to deliveries and collections navigating busy roads to optimise timely deliveries following company safety policies This position requires the following: full HGV CE licence valid driver qualification card (CPC) valid digital tachograph card right to work in the UK - excellent communication skills - experience driving class 1 vehicles Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
