Setting Out Engineer

Matchtech, in collaboration with Coffey Construction Ltd, a tier 1 contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Wrexham. This role is essential in the water sector, focusing on both RC works and earthworks. Key Responsibilities: Accurately setting out and surveying various RC works and earthworks Interpreting and executing project plans and drawings to ensure precise construction Monitoring and checking work progress against project schedules Providing technical support and guidance to site teams Maintaining accurate site records, including as-built drawings Performing quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards Collaborating closely with project managers and other stakeholders Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations Job Requirements: Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer, particularly in the water sector Competency in RC works and earthworks Proficiency in using surveying equipment (own kit is optional) Strong understanding of construction plans and project specifications Ability to maintain precise and clear site records Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork abilities Commitment to health and safety standards and practices If you are a skilled Setting Out Engineer with expertise in RC works and earthworks, we would love to hear from you.
