Building Surveyor

We are currently looking for a Building Surveyor. You will be working in the North Yorkshire area. This is working predominately across Selby, Harrogate and Richmondshire. Monday - Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm Temp Contract Pay rate - £26.38ph paye or £31.18ph umbrella Job Purpose Carry out inspections of housing stock to assess condition, identify defects, and determine required repairs or improvements Prepare detailed reports, schedules of condition, and technical recommendations based on survey findings Ensure properties comply with relevant building regulations, health & safety standards, and housing quality benchmarks Support asset management planning by contributing to stock condition surveys and identifying long-term maintenance needs Liaise with contractors and oversee works to ensure quality, compliance, and timely completion Communicate with tenants, housing officers, and stakeholders to explain findings and provide technical advice in plain language Maintain accurate records of inspections and updates within asset management systems Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services is an equal opportunities employer.
