The purpose of the role: We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Yate. In this role you will work in a team to prepare and pick equipment for projects and you will check back in equipment that has been returned. As part of this role, you may undertake local deliveries and will be trained to use our asset management software. During quieter times you will be involved in the servicing, testing and repair of equipment (full training given). Key Responsibilities The key focus areas for the Warehouse Operative role are: • Prep & de-prep of various power & lighting equipment • Safe loading & unloading of vans & trucks • Local deliveries & collections as necessary • Maintenance, testing & repair of equipment • Fuelling of fleet vehicles • Cleaning of warehouse & work areas • Use of in-house hire systems for stock control and rental management • Contribute to the positive culture within FTVS What we’re looking for: • A highly motivated individual with a “can do” attitude • Experience working in a fast-paced reactive environment • Forklift experience is highly desirable • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team • Full UK Driving license • Have awareness or previous experience within the electrical or the events industry or have relevant transferrable experience from another sector • A basic understanding of electrical principles would be an advantage Why join Film and TV Services?
