What You'll Be Doing: As a key member of our finance team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the company and supporting business decisions with accurate, timely insights. Preparing financial statements, management accounts, and project cost reports. Managing AP/AR records and processing invoices, payments, and expenses. Performing bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and supporting payroll. Handling accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations. Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC guidelines. Monitoring project finances - including budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis. Partnering with project managers to track budgets and control spending. Continuously developing your skills in financial accounting, tax planning, and reporting.What We're Looking For: Actively working towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA is desirable.Essential Experience: Background in project accounting, especially in time-based service delivery. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Knowledge & Skills: Solid understanding of UK accounting standards, VAT, PAYE, and tax compliance.
