Mechanical HVAC Project Manager Are you an experienced HVAC Project Manager looking for a new and exciting role with a reputable and growing contractor? The company are a well-established Mechanical Building Services contractor operating across sectors such as Commercial, Private Healthcare, and Laboratories. With projects typically valued between £100k and £2m, they deliver end-to-end Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning solutions—from design through to installation and commissioning. Due to sustained growth, they are now seeking a skilled Mechanical HVAC Project Manager to join their team and lead key projects from start to finish. Role Overview: As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will take full ownership of HVAC projects from inception through to handover. You will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage all phases of HVAC projects from pre-construction to completion Review designs and contribute to technical development Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted labour Prepare and submit technical documentation and submittals Control project costs and maintain financial performance Liaise with clients, main contractors, suppliers, and internal teams Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance Resolve issues promptly and effectively to minimise delays Ensure health & safety regulations and company policies are strictly followed Report regularly to the Operations Director and Managing Director on project status Candidate Requirements: Extensive experience as a HVAC Project Manager or in a similar role (e.g. Mechanical Project Manager, M&E Contracts Manager) Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and building services Solid track record of long-term employment with previous companies Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills Full UK Driving Licence What’s on Offer: Base salary: £65,000 – £75,000 base salary (depending on experience) Company car or car allowance Travel expenses covered Performance-based bonus Pension scheme options Company Phone and Laptop 24 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Enjoyable and supportive working environments Training and development opportunities Real career progression potential If you're an experienced Mechanical HVAC Project Manager looking for your next step with a stable and progressive contractor, please apply online, or contact Rob Green at David Leslie Ltd for more details.
