Job Overview: Peace Recruitment are seeking a Site Engineer/Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a small groundwork project in South Lanarkshire. The role involves managing earthworks, hard and soft landscaping, and surfacing. There will be minimal setting out required. This opportunity is with a family-owned Civil Engineering Contractor. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all site activities to ensure the project is delivered on time and within scope. Manage subcontractors and site personnel effectively. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor progress and report any issues to the project team. Liaise with stakeholders, suppliers, and the project team to ensure smooth execution. Conduct quality checks and ensure all works are carried out to specification. Requirements: Previous experience as a Site Engineer or Site Manager in civil engineering or construction. Strong understanding of earthworks, landscaping, and surfacing. Ability to manage and coordinate site operations efficiently. CSCS card and relevant site certifications preferred. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
