Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are currently looking for a multiskilled engineer with a mechanical bias on behalf of our client based in sheffield. The role will include commissioning, servicing, maintaining and repairing manufacturing machinery. The role: Commissioning, testing, installing, maintenance, and servicing 60/40 mechanical/Electrical bias Working overtime as and when required – occasional overnight stay Work with the Engineering Team Leader to ensure spares are topped up in allocated van for works orders Report any fault finding Wherever necessary act as a mentor for Engineering Workshop trainees, providing guidance and advice as required. Experience Experienced Maintenance Engineer Worked with manufacturing machinery Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification or minimum of 3 years' experience on the job Strong Communication Skills Proactive approach essential Good planning and prioritising skills Good Customer Service skills are essential Good IT Skills are essential - knowledge of Microsoft NAV (Navision) and TAG would be an advantage.
