Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Crawley - Senior Electrical Design Engineer Platform has partnered with a leading Clean Energy company that are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in developing the electrical and power electronic systems that drive their cutting-edge products £65K-£73K Main Duties: Design electrical networks for grid-connected systems (AC/DC configurations) Create electrical architecture diagrams and wiring schematics Assist in the creation of electrolyzer and fuel cell stack designs. Oversee and maintain electrical design materials and documentation and communicate with key stakeholders Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant standards - IEEE, IEC, NFPAetc. Assist with system installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical components Skills and Experience Required: Qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related field. AC/DC distribution experience Power system design experience - cable sizing, protection device selection, and with control systems -PLC’s Proficient in power system design systems (ETAP, EPLAN, MATLAB). Experience with British and international regulations and standards Have worked within R&D and prototype development environments.
