Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain complex Shopify themes and applications. - Architect and implement scalable and high-performance Shopify solutions. - Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Implement and integrate third-party apps and APIs. - Optimize Shopify store performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Shopify development team. - Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection. - Develop custom Shopify apps using Ruby on Rails or Node.js. - Implement custom functionality and integrations. - Develop and maintain API integrations. - Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests. - Debug and troubleshoot complex Shopify issues. - Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Shopify development. - Collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, and back-end developers. - Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. - Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify trends and best practices. - Identify and implement process improvements. - Contribute to the development of reusable components and : : 7-8 years of professional experience in Shopify Expertise : - Deep expertise in Shopify development, including Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience with Shopify theme development and customization. - Experience with Shopify API integration and app development. - Strong understanding of Shopify best practices and performance optimization. - Experience with Ruby on Rails or Node.js for custom app development. - Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks. - Proficient with Git. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related Qualifications : - Experience with headless Shopify development. - Experience with e-commerce platforms other than Shopify. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Shopify development. - Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce. - Experience with performance optimization techniques for Shopify stores (ref:hirist.tech)
