Job Description Job Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in MIDDLEFIELD, Ohio, 44062-9390, United States. This position will involve a variety of tasks, including processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. The role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Maintain and update customer credit records • Handle invoice processing and data entry tasks • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable • Use Microsoft Excel and other software for basic updates and records • Perform general accounting tasks, excluding general ledger • Enter payments received from clients • Manage the process of cash posting and deposits • Conduct account reconciliation • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is crucial for the role. • Prior experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is strongly desired. • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes is necessary. • The ability to handle Billing tasks is required. • Excellent Data Entry skills are essential for the role. • Experience in Invoice Processing is a significant advantage. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for the role. • Knowledge of Great Plains or D365 software is beneficial.
