Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Family Practice in Washington

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Job Specialty: Family Practice Job Duration: 3 months, possibility to extend Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00), Monday-Friday Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner with face-to-face patient contact within the past year License: Active WA license required Certifications: To be discussed at time of credentialing Must-Have: Must have a clean background; no malpractice will be considered Job Description: - Work in an outpatient ambulatory setting within a Community Health Center. - Provide care to a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics. - Engage with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees, with interpretative services available on site. - Perform basic procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care. - Have a dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and most clinics offer onsite pediatrician services. - Be scheduled to see up to 16 patients per day; comfort with a fast-paced, high-volume environment is essential. - Use EPIC EMR system for charting and patient documentation. - Expected to become familiar with the role rapidly, with a one-week ramp-up period. - Travel support includes flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging if necessary. - Credentialing timeframe is 2-3 weeks. - COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required. - Proficiency in Spanish or Russian is a plus.
