Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Family Practice in Washington

Job Title: Family Practice Physician Job Specialty: Family Practice Job Duration: 3 months, possibility to extend Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Experience: Minimum of 2 years of face-to-face patient contact within the past year License: Active WA license required Certifications: To be discussed at the time of credentialing. Providers are responsible for obtaining any necessary certifications. Must-Have: - Board Certification - Active WA DEA license - Clean background with no malpractice - COVID and flu vaccinations Job Description: - Begin patient care by day 3 after a one-week orientation - Support staff includes a dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and more - Work with newborns to geriatric patients - Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume settings, seeing up to 18 patients per day - Experience or interest in community health centers and vulnerable populations - Provide outpatient ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care, and chronic disease management - Basic procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care - Utilize EPIC EMR system - Travel logistics include flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging - Fluent in Spanish or Russian is a plus but not required Please ensure you are comfortable meeting the patient quota and maintaining pace throughout the contract.
