EYFS SEN Practitioner Job Type: Temporary (Potential for Permanent) Location: Bristol Salary: £88-£100 per day DOE Start Date: ASAP Hours: Full-time, term-time only (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) The Role Five Education is seeking a dedicated EYFS SEN Practitioner to support young children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a Bristol-based setting. The children you will be working with may have ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, or behavioural challenges. This role requires a patient and proactive individual who is committed to making a positive impact on children's early education. This is a full-time position (7.5 hours per day, during term time), though part-time applicants may be considered. Key Responsibilities: Plan and facilitate engaging learning activities tailored to each child's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Adapt the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the children, ensuring learning remains fun and accessible. Foster strong relationships with students, creating a safe, structured, and positive environment. Support students in developing social skills and self-regulation techniques. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to help students reach their personal and academic goals. What We're Looking For: Previous experience working with SEN children (experience with SEMH, high-needs children, or autism is essential). Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma for Early Years Practitioners (preferred but not essential). A resilient and patient approach, with a passion for helping children succeed. Right to work in the UK. Relevant DBS/police checks and professional references. If you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we can assist in processing a new one at a cost of £62.70, which will be refunded after 20 days of work.
