Job Title: Strategic Business Development Manager Location: Remote/Hybrid Options Industry: Logistics / Freight Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 plus OTE & benefits The Role JS3 Recruitment is partnering with a highly ambitious and rapidly growing company that’s looking for a dynamic Strategic Business Development Manager to help shape and execute strategies that will accelerate growth, enhance market position, and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders. The Role: As the Strategic Business Development Manager , you will play a key role in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, executing strategies to drive growth, and enhancing the company's competitive edge. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives while building strong relationships with new and existing partners. Key Responsibilities: Opportunity Identification : Discover and capitalize on new markets, customer segments, and emerging trends that align with business goals. Strategic Planning : Design and implement business development strategies to expand the company’s reach and revenue streams. Partnership Building : Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and strategic partners to drive long-term success. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with marketing, finance, and sales teams to ensure successful execution of business development strategies. Market Insights : Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitors to provide actionable insights for senior leadership. Proposal Creation : Lead the creation of compelling proposals, presentations, and strategic documents for clients and partners. Performance Tracking : Monitor KPIs related to business development efforts and provide regular updates to management. Process Improvement : Review and refine business development processes to ensure maximum efficiency and impact. Stakeholder Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, clients, and potential partners to ensure sustained growth. Essential Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or a similar role with a proven track record of driving business growth and establishing successful partnerships. Goal-oriented, with a strong focus on exceeding targets and achieving results. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team . Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with evolving business needs. Leadership experience and proficiency in project management . Key Skills: Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities. Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills . Expertise in market research , competitive analysis , and identifying growth opportunities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
