Assembly/Mechanical Fitters - Aerospace Manufacturing - Gloucester ??We're partnering with a world-renowned aerospace manufacturer to recruit experienced Assembly/Mechanical Fitters for their Gloucester facility. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, contributing to high-precision components in collaboration with Airbus for the next generation of aircraft.The Role:- Assemble and test aerospace components to the highest industry standards.- Carry out administrative tasks to support project completion.- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings.- Apply your fitting/assembly expertise (aerospace experience preferred, but other industries considered).What You'll Need:- A completed full engineering apprenticeship or a Level 3 qualification in an engineering-related field.- Hands-on experience in fitting or assembly with a keen eye for detail.What's on Offer:- Salary: Starting at £37,300, with shift allowances increasing earnings to approximately £45k.- Shifts: Rotating 2-week pattern of days, lates, and nights.- Shift Premiums: 38.5% for nights, 39.75% for lates.- Permanent position with clear career progression opportunities.- Location: Gloucester.This is a great chance to join a skilled and supportive team within a globally respected aerospace manufacturer.
