Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Job Title : Senior Java Developer. Location : Mumbai (Thane). Experience : 8 Years. Job Type : Full-time. Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud-based technologies, along with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building robust software solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Java applications. - Architect and implement microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot. - Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, DevOps, and QA. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. - Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. - Integrate third-party APIs, databases, and other backend services. - Ensure seamless deployment using CI/CD pipelines. - Keep up with emerging trends and technologies in Java development. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Strong experience with Java 8 and Spring Boot. - Hands-on experience in Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). - Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB. - Experience with ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA). - Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ). - Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Strong knowledge of design patterns and best practices. - Experience in unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito). - Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). - Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with event-driven architecture. - Knowledge of GraphQL and gRPC. - Exposure to Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. - Experience with security best practices in web applications. Education : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
