Industry 4.0 Senior Researcher

Main duties: Be part of the Smart Systems and Smart Manufacturing Unit, within the Research and Development area, with the following task: R & D projects execution in Industry 4.0. Education: Degree in Industrial Engineer. Industrial Electronics Engineering. Industrial Automatic Engineering. Computer Engineering. Master / PhD / Postdoctoral in the field of Computer Science or Industrial Engineer highly valued. Job specific skills: Previous experience of at least 4 years in R&D. Programming in Python and/or C++, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript. Knowledge of IoT protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT). Basic knowledge of I4: TAMI4.0, IDS. Office package: high level of Word, Excel and Power Point. English: Advanced (C1/C2) level. Availability to travel. Driving Licence and own car. Desirable qualifications and skills: Information modelling (AutomationML, Asset Administration Shell). Knowledge of front-end development (e.g., Angular). Knowledge of database (e.g., MyAQL, MongoDB, PostgrSQL). Knowledge of digital platforms/middleware (e.g., BaSyx, Fiware). PLC programming (Siemens, Beckhoff) and fieldbuses. Knowledge of robotics and user level operation of AAB and/or KUKA, FANUC robots. Digital twins based on 3D rendering (e.g., Blender, Unity).
