Security Warden – Sellafield Site Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for Security Wardens to provide a professional security service at the Sellafield Site in Cumbria. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with Nuclear Industries Security Regulations 2003 (NISR 2003) and the Nuclear Site Security Plan (NSSP). Location: Sellafield, Cumbria, CA20 1PG Rate: £16.89 per hour (PAYE) Contract Length: 12 months Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week, 7.4 hours per day Key Responsibilities: Control access and egress to security-sensitive areas and buildings Manage security keys for Nuclear Material (NM) stores and access points Conduct security regulatory and assurance checks, reporting any deviations Assist in Nuclear Material transfers across the site Provide and manage security furniture for classified information Conduct Perimeter Intruder Detection System (PIDS) testing Support site exercises and security training within the team Communicate with internal and external stakeholders as requiredRequirements: SC Clearance required (candidates without SC can apply but must obtain clearance before starting) Must be in a position to obtain DV Clearance at a later stage Experience in security operations within high-risk environments Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness Ability to work in a regulated environment with strict security protocolsAdditional Information: CV Deadline: 18/02/2025 at 3:00 PM In-person interview requiredThis is a critical role within one of the UK’s most secure sites.
