Project Engineer

Role- Mechanical Project Engineer Salary- £28,000- £45,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you’re looking for) Type- Permanent Location- West Sussex My client design and manufacture a range of products for the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors and they are looking to take on a Project Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the West Sussex area. The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Be Degree/ HND/ HNC qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar (Or qualified by experience with strong Project Engineering skills having worked in a technical environment) 2 years or more of industry experience would be desirable working in a similar project role Have the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget Very good attention to detail Confident in your own Engineering knowledge and skills Knowledge of CAD software and also Microsoft Office programmes (MS Excel/ MS Project) would be an advantage Excellent communication skills Ability to work well alone as well as part of a team Flexibility to travel as required as a large part of the role to customer sites, both in the UK and abroad The Project Engineer role will involve: Working within the companies Projects Department under a Project Manager Supporting important company contracts (engineering, material supply and quality control) Working on the co-ordination and execution of projects Working closely with site management teams Reviewing sub-contractor bids including the technical aspects Reviewing drawings Drafting purchase order specifications for equipment and material purchase Travel in both the UK and Worldwide as the job requires to meet clients If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
