Head of Finance

We are seeking a dedicated Head of Finance for a not-for-profit organisation based in Richmond. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial aspects, ensuring sustainable growth and financial health of the organisation. Client Details Our client is a well-established, medium-sized educational institution located in Richmond. They pride themselves on their commitment to providing high-quality education and creating a positive impact on society. Description Oversee the financial strategic planning of the organisation by evaluating its performance and potential risks. Develop budgets that meet the requirements of department heads. Ensure the organisation's financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth. Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Prepare detailed reports on the company's financial performance. Collaborate with external auditors and manage internal controls. Implement innovative and efficient financial processes to improve productivity. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Profile A successful Head of Finance should have: A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field. Professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus. Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit or education sector. Strong knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP). Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software. Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented approach. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders. Job Offer A competitive salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.
