ROLESUMMARY TheLeadEngineerwillsupportthePL/PE/DEtoensurethedeliveryofSeatingwiththerightquality,meetingcustomerexpectations.ThisdemandingrolerequirestheLeadEngineertomanagetechnicaldeliveryandresolvedesignissues.TheLEwillworkcloselywiththeML/LE/DEandcustomerstoensureservicedeliveryisachieved. Keyresponsibleincludes: Overseeingtechnicaldelivery,inputting/validatingDFMEA/DVP,andensuringdeliveryqualitywithaFirst-TimeRightapproach. Reportingdesignissuesandsupportingthegovernanceofallclientengagements. Ensuringalltechnicaldeliveryprocessesarerobustlyintegratedintoprojectplans. Trackingandresolvingdesignissues,optimizingdesignresourceefficiency,forecastingprojecttasks,andaddressingupskillingandskillgaps. Therolerequiresbeingonsiteatthecustomer'slocation3daysaweek. Responsibleforensuringthatthecomponentsarecomplianttotherelevantlegislationrequirements. WorkwiththerelevantSystemTechnicalLead(SYTL)SystemRequirements,Architecture,IntegrationandValidationengineers. Pointofcontactforanybuild/functionalissuesraisedonEKEsystems. Benchmarkingofdesignsaspercustomerrequirement. Completionofrootcauseanalysis(8Dformat) OwnershipandprogressionofKPMactivities. Datatobeready&completeforsignedoffbythepartownerpriortotheB-releasedatesforeachpart. ConductDMU&qualitychecksforallpartstofeaturewithintheB-releasereadinesschecklist.
