Job Description

We are currently recruiting a highly skilled Credit Controller to join a dynamic finance team for our client based in North Lanarkshire. As a Credit Controller you will report to the Group Financial Controller and Credit Control Team leader, working in a fast paced team environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities: Credit Control: Chasing customer debt daily Query Resolution: Dealing with invoice queries (both internal and external) Cash Allocation: Allocating cash receipts onto Sales Ledger Departmental Liaison: Regular team meetings with internal Department Mangers, and Credit Control team. Account Management: Opening new customer accounts Reconciliations: Reconciling customer deposits and arranging deposit refunds Requirements: Proven experience as a Credit Controller Strong sales, and cash allocation experience Good communication skills required in dealing with internal and external clients Good computer skills (experience with Sage 200 desirable) Strong attention to detail Ability to work to deadlines Offering Salary £28k – £30k DOE Hours Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm Holidays 30 days incl statutory holidays Pension Office based Not the job for you but know someone who would be perfect for the role?
