Area Sales Manager £35,000 - £40,000 Builders Merchant Our client is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join a business that has experienced within a builder's merchant. The role is working within a defined territory of North Yorkshire. This is an excellent role for a confident salesperson looking for progression or wanting to work for a business that rewards the employees In the role of Area Sales Manager, you will be: Building relationships with existing business Driving new business and upselling at every opportunity Territory management Creating projects and working towards specific timescales Negotiating costs and liasing with all departments regarding customer requirements Determine and implement plans to meet business development targets in line with company goals. Experience required: Previous experience in a sales role with a track record of achievements Builder merchant sales experience, timber would be a distinct advantage Would consider an internal salesperson looking to progress into an external role Ability to talk to customers at all levels. Adaptable to training and ability to learn product knowledge to meet business requirements. Desire to be successful.
