Corporate Tax Manager - Milton Keynes About Our Client Our client is a well-established organization based in Milton Keynes seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join their finance team. The Role Reporting to the Head of Tax, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the corporate tax function and providing strategic tax advice to support business objectives. Key Responsibilities Oversee the preparation and review of UK corporate tax returns and computations Provide technical tax guidance on UK and international tax matters Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the tax position Manage HMRC relationships, including audits and enquiries Stay current with tax legislation changes and assess their impact Implement and maintain robust tax risk management processes Liaise with external tax advisors when required Mentor and develop junior members of the tax team Required Qualifications & Experience Professional qualification (ACA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent) Minimum 5 years' corporate tax experience with at least 2 years at manager level Comprehensive knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation Experience with tax compliance software and advanced Excel skills Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly Desirable Experience Experience within a multinational business environment Knowledge of international tax principles and transfer pricing Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems Industry-specific tax experience (details can be tailored to your client's sector)
