Sales Engineer

SALES/PROJECT ENGINEER Industrial HVAC Industry Cape Town OR JHB Company Profile Our client is a manufacturer of industrial HVAC systems. This role is perfect for an Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) who has experience in Sales and Project management. You will have a huge influence in the companys technological direction. You will also grow the companys capability and technical know-how in a field where this company is the innovation driving force in South Africa. RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Project and Sales Engineer, you will lead the Technical and installation teams of the company & interact with clients. Your role will be responsible for further innovating the designs of integrated Industrial HVAC systems (Ammonia refrigeration). Quoting customers and finalizing project scopes and then seeing the project through to completion together with our Technicians and Installation teams. Your specific responsibilities Quoting customers on large HVAC systems designed for the fishing and marine industry Managing the projects including local and international parts procurement Improving the flow of the Integrated Heating systems including working with programmers and simplifying the system. Making the system more accessible and user friendly. Managing some local parts procurement (built to draw) o Managing certain consumable parts ordered locally. Setting price lists for Specialized Central Heating parts PREFERRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: Electrical or Mechanical engineering degree (or similar). Preferable BSc degree or minimum BTech degree. Must be a 4 year degree. Experience with Industrial HVAC systems and Ammonia refrigeration equipment Strong relevant experience in Project Management, Sales, Control Systems, Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer understanding, construction. Demonstrable experience and success in Projects Execution, Customer Relationship
