FRUIT ACCOUNTANT (Bellville)

FRUIT ACCOUNTANT (BELLVILLE) Our client, an internationally recognised grower, packer and exporter of citrus fruit and table grapes, is looking for a detail-orientated and deadline driven Fruit Accountant to join their fruit accounting team, at their Head office in Bellville. REQUIREMENTS: • Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification. • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fruit or cost accounting. • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting/export systems. • Strond administrative, decision-making and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Experience in consignment accounting, cost chains and Incoterms are preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Setting up and managing consignment accounts for the company’s international operations. • Gathering and analysing relevant consignment sales and cost data. • Calculating final consignment results and processing payments to produce suppliers. • Recording consignment transactions in financial reports. • Reconciling financial performance metrics.
