Medical Officer

Limpopo Oncology Clinic (LOC) is a wholistic cancer clinic based in Polokwane with outreach clinics in Tzaneen. The clinic offers chemotherapy and radiotherapy services and participates in clinical trials. We are looking to recruit a post-community service medical officer to join our team of Specialists, Oncology Nurses, Radiotherapist and Supportive administrative staff. Key Responsibilities Provide Clinical care for Oncology patients on treatment (Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy) in our x2 clinics in Polokwane and Tzaneen Participate as Sub-investigator in Clinical trials Perform Ward rounds, provide medical services for the clinics outreach programs and any special events Perform x2 weekend wards and over-time Generate and maintain electronic clinic records in accordance with the clinics policy Participate in Medical education, Academic activities and be willing to travel Requirements: Medical Degree Registered with HPCSA as an independent clinical practitioner Medical Malpractice Insurance Oncology Experience would be advantageous
