Technical Sales Representative - Vegetable Seed

Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a relevant tertiary qualification Previous sales experience within the vegetable seed industry with good market knowledge is essential Ability to work within deadlines, with good personal time management Good knowledge of agronomy and irrigation providing support to farmers, while maintaining a commercial perspective Must be a team player who finds it easy to communicate and collaborate within the team and with other departments Willing to work flexible hours and be able to work under pressure Must be computer literate Proficiency in English (Written and Spoken) Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing customer accounts. Providing technical assistance to clients where possible. Providing key customer support. Developing market share. Contributing to sales planning and budgets. Assisting with planning and arranging farmers' days and other marketing/promotional activities. Coordinating product trials within the region. Collecting and reporting up-to-date market information/data. Maintaining proficiency in sales skills and product knowledge. Operating within budgeted OPEX. Accurately and promptly completing sales administration. Delivering products to clients when necessary. Coordinating all commercial activities within the region.
