Job Description
As the Lodge Manager you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team to ensure exceptional guest experiences and smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires strong leadership, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage all aspects of a luxury lodge in a remote setting. Candidate Requirements: Hospitality Diploma or tertiary qualification in Hotel Management Computer Literate Pastel, Micros, Opera, SEMPER, Microsoft Office At least 5 years in management roles in related lodge environments. Fluent in written and spoken English, Zulu would be beneficial Drivers License valid PDP beneficial Valid First Aid Certificate Must have a valid South African ID Have Strong leadership skills with a sense of ownership, Be an Honest person with high sense of integrity Well groomed, good personal hygiene & presentable with a friendly personality Strong work ethic, ability to work unsupervised, work flexible hours Passionate about conservation Must have good interpersonal skills Be a Self-motivated, enthusiastic and positive individual Methodical work ethic with a high regard for attention to detail Excellent organizational, administrative and reporting skills An understanding of budget control and financial management, HR and payroll functions Have a realistic expectation of Bush Life This is a live in position (accommodation, meals and laundry provided) 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off
