Senior Lab Technician

Requirements: BSc Hons or MSc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field. Three to five years of relevant industry experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis. Experience with microscopy, analytical chemistry, and lab equipment calibration. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team within a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily culture analysis and microscopic examinations to ensure optimal algae growth and quality. Calibrate and maintain online monitoring systems, including nutrients, pH, temperature, and conductivity. Prepare samples for off-site quality testing and maintain accurate records. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality control procedures. Troubleshoot issues related to cultures, equipment, and processes. This role requires strict confidentiality regarding proprietary information.
