Job Description
Job Title: Restaurant Manager Location: Western Cape, Eden District, Plettenberg Bay Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Salary: Market Related Job Duties: Oversee daily operations of the restaurant Manage staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through excellent service Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Handle customer inquiries and complaints Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless operations Required Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Education: Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Understanding of financial aspects of restaurant management Ability to lead and motivate a team Knowledge of industry regulations and standards Preferred Qualifications: Food Safety Certification Additional training in customer service Working Conditions: Fast-paced and luxury restaurant environment Weekend and evening shifts will be required
