Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Internal / Key Accounts Broker to manage an existing client portfolio of ±300 clients through proactive underwriting and administrative support. This is an office-based/inbound role with no external client visits. Minimum Qualifications & Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) RE5 Certification (compulsory) NQF Level 4 in Financial Services (advantageous) 2 years underwriting experience (brokerage environment preferred) Personal & commercial lines underwriting experience Strong communication, administration & interpersonal skills Key Responsibilities: Client Portfolio Management Provide high-level service & support to assigned clients. Premium & Payment Management Monitor unpaid premiums & resolve payment issues. Policy Renewals & Retentions Manage renewals, conduct risk assessments & reduce lapse rates. Policy Endorsements & Amendments Process changes in cover, asset details & client info. Underwriting & Quoting Conduct risk assessments, provide quotes & re-broking as needed. Client Engagement Handle 25 client meetings per day via Zoom or phone to discuss policies. Additional Duties Manage cancellations, track device installations, process refunds & ensure compliance.
