The following position has become available at Wembley College: Intern (Sports Assistant). RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and assist with all Junior School sports programmes and activities. Assist with the Schools Term Planner, including sports, cultural and daily events at the school. Confirm bus bookings for away fixtures and sports events with the bus bookings schedule. Coordinate catering for home and special sports events. Communicate effectively with coaches, staff, parents, and external sporting bodies. Ensure sports facilities and equipment are maintained and available for scheduled use. Assist with organizing sports days, inter-house competitions, and other extracurricular activities. Promote a positive sporting culture and encourage participation among scholars. Maintain accurate records of fixtures, results, and scholars participation. Assist with administrative functions within the sports department. Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications: Min: Matric. Ideal: Sports Science, Sports Management or similar Qualification. Experience: Experience in school sports coordination or coaching would be advantageous. Basic computer skills are essential. Legal: Valid drivers license. Skills: Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to manage logistics and multitask effectively. A passion for youth sports and development.
