Installation Technician (Wireless & Fibre)

IBITS Internet, a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the Paarl/Wellington area, is looking for skilled Installation Technicians to join our team. We are hiring for both Wireless and Fibre installation positions to help bring high-speed connectivity to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Install and Set Up Wireless & Fibre Equipment at customer locations, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Perform site surveys , identifying the best installation solutions based on customer needs and technical requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to installations or connectivity. Ensure compliance with safety and installation standards while working on-site. Provide excellent customer service, explaining installation procedures and assisting with basic troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of installations and related activities. Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Candidate Requirements: Experience: 1 years in installation or technical support (experience in wireless or fibre installation preferred). Skills: Strong knowledge of wireless or fibre technology . Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Proficiency in handling installation tools and equipment. eg. drilling and pulling cable or splicing equipment. No fear of working on heights or small enclosed places such as ceilings. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Education: Relevant technical certification (e.g., Fibre Optic Technician Certification , Wireless Technician Training ) preferred. Other: Valid South African drivers license and own transport.
