Software Developer /Appian Developer

Job Description: Global Infotech Inc, is seeking a Mid-Level Appian Developer to design, develop, and optimize Appian-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low-code application development, business process automation, and system integrations. Location: Schaumburg IL, and Unanticipated Client Locations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy Appian-based business process applications. Build Appian SAIL interfaces, records, sites, and reports. Experience with Appian BPM, process modeling, API integrations, and performance optimization. Develop and optimize process models, workflows, and rule expressions. Work with Appian Data Types (CDTs) and Appian Data Stores to structure application data efficiently. Implement event-driven workflows and business rules for process automation. Strong experience with REST/SOAP API integration. Integrate LDAP, OAuth, SAML, and Active Directory for authentication. Deploy applications using Appian Cloud and On-Premise environments. Implement CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and Appian Deployment Automation. Participate in setting up automated builds that compile, package, and test the application upon every code commit. Contribute to the creation of automated deployment pipelines that move tested code through different environments. Configure Connected Systems, Web APIs, and Integrations for seamless data flow. Work with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and optimize database queries. Implement Appian RPA and AI services to enhance automation. Hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases, and query optimization. Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell for custom plug-in development. Utilize AVM to manage Appian objects within the GIT repository, ensuring proper versioning and tracking of changes. Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting using Appian Health Check Reports. Set up monitoring, logging, and exception handling for production environments. Document technical designs, API specifications, and application workflows. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing Appian applications. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field with Industry experience.
