Guidewire Developer

Job Description: Global Infotech Inc, is looking for a highly skilled Guidewire Developer with substantial experience in PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter to join our dynamic team. Location: Schaumburg IL, and Unanticipated Client Locations. Roles and responsibilities: 5 years of experience with Guidewire's PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and Rating systems, with expertise in configuration, integration, and implementation. Develop and configure advanced solutions within the Guidewire platform, utilizing GOSU, PCF, XML, Product Model, Activity Assignments, Forms, and Inference Engine Work on integrating various lines of business including Auto, Property, Workers' Compensation, and more. Design and implement policy forms, rating models, and complex business rules within Guidewire systems. Write, debug, and maintain code using Guidewire Studio, with a strong focus on the UI Data Model. Configure and customize PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter using Guidewire Studio, focusing on Bundles, GX Models, and Authentication. Handle configuration for multiple Personal Lines of Business (LOBs) including Product Modeling, Quoting, Rating Management, Forms Management, Policy Revisioning, Underwriting (UW) Authority, Account Management, and Policy Center administration. Develop and maintain integrations using Guidewire's integration mechanisms such as Messaging, Web Services (SOAP, REST), Batch Processes, Work-Queues, and various Plugins (Authentication, Startable, etc.). Implement and configure Guidewire Messaging, Messaging Plugins, and Event-driven frameworks. Engage in file-based integrations, batch framework, and performance tuning. Extensive experience with Guidewire's integration design patterns. Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases like Oracle or SQL Server. Proficient in source code management tools like GitHub, BitBucket, GIT, TFS, or SVN. Work in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field with 5 years of Industry experience.
