Job Title : Penetration Tester & Firewall Reviewer Job Type : Contract/Temporary (Project-based) for 2 months Location : Bangalore Years of experience : 5 years About the Project : We are expecting a project in two months for an Indian client and are looking for experienced and highly committed resources or a specialized boutique group to execute part of the External Penetration Testing (plus Internal Gray Box Testing) activities. Given the aggressive timelines, we want to augment and support our team with skilled professionals who can take full ownership of their tasks. Responsibilities : - Conduct Web Application Penetration Testing (Black Box) - Conduct Mobile Application Penetration Testing (Black Box) - Perform External Network Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (Black Box) - Conduct Web Application Penetration Testing (Gray Box) - Independently review firewall : Background Verification : All resources must be willing to undergo background verification. Certifications : Mandatory : OSCP certification for penetration testers Preferred : Security researchers associated with Yogosha, HackerOne, or Synack Preferred for Firewall Configuration Review : CCIE Security, SANS, or Palo Alto certifications of a similar level Scope of Work : Web Application Penetration Testing (Black Box) : - 40 Applications (Code I) - 10 Applications (Code II) Mobile Application Penetration Testing (Black Box) : 4 Apps External Network Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (Black Box) : 95 IPs Web Application Penetration Testing (Gray Box) : 5 IPs Independent Firewall Configuration Review : - 10 Applications - 9 Firewalls Additional Inquiry : Web Application Penetration Testing (Gray Box) : - 40 Applications (Code I) - 10 Applications (Code II) Skills & Experience : - Proven experience in penetration testing and firewall review - Strong understanding of security principles, techniques, and technologies - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and take full ownership of tasks - Strong communication and report-writing skills (ref:hirist.tech)
