Commissioning Engineer

COMMISSIONING ENGINEER, DATA CENTERS & MISSION CRITICAL Key Responsibilities: Develop and ensure adherence to commissioning processes and best practices unique to the data center & mission critical environment. Within the team, maintain accurate and updated documentation processes throughout the commissioning process, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and final commissioning reports. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices related to commissioning and project management. Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute innovative ideas to enhance project delivery and streamline commissioning processes. Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute commissioning processes for building systems Develop and review commissioning plans, test procedures, and reports Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders Conduct on-site inspections and performance testing Identify and document deficiencies and oversee corrective actions Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements Required Qualifications: 3-5 years experience in building systems commissioning Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and control systems Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainability practices Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) Professional certifications (e.g., CxA, PE, LEED AP) Experience with energy modeling and building automation systems Key Skills: Technical writing Project management Data analysis Attention to detail This role ensures optimal performance and efficiency of building systems through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.
