Financial Accountant

Our client, a leading player in the banking industry, is seeking a Financial Accountant to take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial management. Job Experience & Skills Required: Strong technical accounting knowledge, with a focus on IFRS and regulatory reporting. Proven ability to manage financial controls, reconciliations, and month-end processes. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies. Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software. Qualifications: CA(SA) qualification is essential. Minimum 7 years of post-articles experience , preferably within the banking or financial services sector. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS. Ensure adherence to banking regulations and financial reporting standards. Manage financial reconciliations and month-end close processes. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize financial performance.
