L2/L3 Network Engineer

Job Description / Role Profile : - The individual should be able to manage network operations independently consisting of Routers / L2 & L3 switches. - Thorough knowledge of network protocols and multicast network. - Hands-on experience in Cisco routers and Juniper & Sophos. - Preparation and review of various network reports. - Understanding of ITIL process. - Regular interaction with end users/Members and senior management. - Network diagram updation (PPT/Visio). - Network monitoring tool. - Should have hands-on experience of below protocols and features : OSI Layers, IPV4 (Subnetting), Static routing, OSPF, BGP, PPP, TCP/UDP, STP, VPC, Fabric path, VDC, Port channel, Port security, Port Span, Policy-based routing, QOS, Multicasting, IGMP, PIM dense mode, PIM Sparse Mode, PIM SSM, TACACS, Radius, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, IP SLA, GRE Tunnel, IP SEC tunnel, Wireless, SNMP, Access control list. Should have worked on the below products : - Cisco ISR & ASR Router (1002X, 9010, 4000, 2900, 800). - Cisco (Nexus & Catalyst), juniper and dell L2 and L3 Switches. - Cisco Access Points (autonomous and controller-based). - Cisco ACS & ISE. - Should have hands-on WAN technology : MPLS, P2P, STM, ISDN. - Should have worked with network monitoring tool : Solar winds, Wire shark. Education/Experience : What do we expect?. - The Individual should be a Diploma/Graduate/Post Graduate in a Relevant (IT) Field Must be a CCNP-certified professional. - Minimum 5 years' proven leadership experience in network engineering, facility management, and project execution. - Strong understanding of network compliance and risk management is associated with it The personnel must be modern-age tech-friendly. - Flexible at work and ready to travel. - Ability to lead diverse teams, delegate tasks, and drive accountability Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
