Only applications that indicate residence in these locations and/or surrounding areas will be processed. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage Administrator to join our IT team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our organization's storage infrastructure, ensuring data availability, and implementing robust storage solutions. Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level storage systems, including SAN and NAS environments Optimize storage performance, capacity, and availability to meet business requirements Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity Troubleshoot complex storage-related issues and provide timely resolutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align storage solutions with organizational needs Conduct regular performance monitoring, capacity planning, and storage forecasting Implement and maintain storage security measures to protect sensitive data Stay current with emerging storage technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure Develop and maintain documentation for storage systems, processes, and procedures Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior storage administrators What We’re Looking For: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in storage administration with a focus on enterprise-level solutions. Proven experience in automation of storage operations using scripting and tools such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, or Bash (mandatory). Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage) technologies . Proficiency in storage management software and tools. Experience with data center operations and disaster recovery planning. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex IT environments. Expertise in performance tuning and capacity planning for storage systems. Certifications (Highly Valued): Storage-related certifications : EMC, NetApp, IBM, HPE, or similar. Soft Skills & Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken). Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
