Learn how CBP operates in all 50 states, over 50 countries, and 328 ports of entry to protect the American people, safeguard our borders, and enhance the nation’s economic prosperity. WHO : Those looking for an opportunity in federal law enforcement, including entry-level applicants, those with one or more years in law enforcement, and/or with military background. Seasoned rotor/fixed-wing pilots and licensed marine operators are also in high demand with CBP and encouraged to attend. WHAT : Chat with Recruiters from U.S. Border Patrol, the Office of Field Operations, Air and Marine Operations, and the Office of Professional Responsibility. To be eligible for CBP law enforcement positions, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen; have a valid driver's license; have resided in the U.S. for at least three of the last five years (exceptions may apply); be eligible to carry a firearm; be referred for selection prior to your 40th birthday (exceptions may apply for Veteran's Preference eligibility or previous service in a civilian law enforcement position); be willing to travel; successfully complete the application process.
