Resident Engineer

Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring they align with approved designs, specifications, and contractual agreements Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion within contractual deadlines Ensure full compliance with GCC2015, SABS1200, and COLTO standards Verify that all materials, workmanship, and construction processes meet the highest industry standards and engineering drawings Ensure all construction work follows applicable laws, regulations, and environmental requirements Implement and monitor approved safety protocols and environmental programs to maintain project integrity Obtain and oversee necessary wayleaves and approvals to prevent project delays Act as the primary contact for clients, contractors, and consultants, facilitating clear and effective communication among all parties Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations, offering insights and recommendations to support project progress. This position is a 16-month engagement Candidates must have a reliable vehicle for commuting to and from project sites This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact road infrastructure projects while advancing your career within a reputable and technically driven organization. Skills & Experience : Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Civil Designer for accurate design implementation and project execution A minimum of 8 10 years of experience in infrastructure projects, with a strong background in road construction, preferably SANRAL projects Strong skills in project planning, organization, and task management In-depth understanding of construction methodologies and technical specifications A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to make informed decisions to drive project success Qualification: National Diploma, BTech/Advanced Diploma, or BEng in Civil Engineering Professional registration with ECSA is preferred Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered Contact Nonku Ndzondo on 021 418 1750 , quoting the Ref: CTE026399.
